Automatic doors are an integral part of our daily lives yet many sensors on the market still struggle with a common problem: doors opening when they’re not supposed to.

The 3H-IR14C is specifically designed to solve this problem. It’s a multifunction, EN 16005 compliant sensor with a highly accurate detection zone. With a sleek design that complements even the slimmest door drives, it’s the cost-effective solution you’ve been looking for.

Accuracy for increased customer satisfaction.

From busy streets with pedestrians passing every few seconds to internal doors, false activations create client frustration, energy losses and costly return to site visits.

The 3H-IR14C sensor, with its accurately adjustable detection zones and its ability to track and adjust in real time to environmental changes in the detection field, means that doors open only when they should.

Peace of mind from enhanced safety features.

Pedestrians using automatic doors must be protected from the dangers of door movement. Vulnerable door users, however, are at risk of falling from the “startle effect” caused by sudden door movements as they approach the door. We’ve designed the 3H-IR14C sensor with an adjustable 25-75 cm deep safety zone to protect pedestrians no matter where they are in the vicinity of the moving door and provide our customers with the peace of mind that only comes from exceeding EN 16005 safety standards.

Versatility that helps you to reduce your sensor inventory.

The 3H-IR14C is highly versatile in that it can be used for four sliding door applications:

Activation and door-close safety

Side-screen door-open safety

Door-close safety

Sleek internal mounting within the door engine cover or false ceiling

This versatility means you can always be sure that installers have the correct sensor for the job in their van when that sensor is the 3H-IR14C.

Simplicity that saves you valuable time on site.

We pre-configure the 3H-IR14C sensor at our factory so that installers have minimal work onsite to configure the sensor and ensure compliance with the EN 16005 safety standard. Three simple steps is all it takes:

  1. Turn on “test input”.
  2. Position the safety zone in front of the door.
  3. Verify your safety zone setting using our EN 16005 test box.

Then you’re done and ready to move onto the next job.

Sleek & unobtrusive to raise the aesthetics of your sliding doors.

The holy grail for architects and building owners alike is a sensor that opens the door, keeps pedestrians safe, and cannot be seen. When installed with our HA-14 internal mounting bracket, the 3H-IR14C is rendered effectively invisible and requires only 37mm of space inside the door engine cover. Even when installed on the exterior of the engine cover, the 3H-IR14C is still extremely compact measuring at only 21cm W x 5.9cm H x 2.85cm D.

Good things most certainly come in small packages! That’s what the 3H-IR14C offers: a compact, EN 16005 compliant and versatile solution for every automatic sliding door installation.
