BAU 2025 was a fantastic success, thanks once again to everyone who stopped by our stand to pay us a visit. This year we showcased no fewer than 10 new updates to our product range, here’s a quick recap:
Swing Doors:
Our engineers in Japan have optimized our SSS-5 sensor to provide full swing door safety coverage with just one cost efficient module. The SSS-5 can now be installed up to 2.8 meters high and is equipped with our advanced LED technology that transforms sensor setup and improves detection feedback. Our new external LEDs clearly indicate when the sensor is detecting on a spot-by-spot basis making it easy to visualize & position the safety zone and conduct the EN 16005 box test.
Sliding Doors:
Our game changing SSR-3 series dual technology sensors now have a universal antenna with a 15 ° left / 15 ° right radar angle adjustment for highly accurate positioning of the activation zone.
HR900 is our brand-new miniature microwave technology activation sensor. It measures just 130mm (w) x 45mm (h) x 34mm (d) and is perfect for even the slimmest door drive. A low power 24GHz radar module makes it suitable for use on sliding doors worldwide and our energy saving uni-directional detecting technology reduces building energy losses.
The SSR-3 series, HR100-CT and 3H-IR14C sensors have been equipped with improved LED indicators that provide more information on which infrared row is detecting. For example, the HR100-CT features a fast-flashing red LED when detection occurs in row 1, a slow flashing LED for row 2 and a solid red LED for row 3. This provides better feedback for the installer and helps to easily identify the position of the pedestrian safety zone.
The SSR-3 series and HR100-CT sensors also have a single green LED flash to provide visual confirmation of when the test signal from the door controller to the sensor has been processed correctly.
Switches:
The ClearWave, J-Wave & AerWave touchless switches and WT-400 push button switch have been transformed with sleek black & white faceplates and standardised symbols. Our new uniform look makes it easier than ever to achieve a streamlined, aesthetically pleasing finish no matter what combination of Hotron activation switches you choose.
